What is The Kidney Walk?
The Kidney Walk is a wonderful annual event sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation, all about raising awareness of kidney disease and exploring ways to fight this important health challenge. It's a lively community gathering where friends come together to support each other and share in a common goal. It’s also a great chance to learn more about how to keep our kidneys healthy. We’d love for you to join us in celebrating life and hope, as we work together to make a real difference for those impacted by kidney disease. Your participation not only supports a meaningful cause but also helps light the way toward a healthier future for many. Don’t miss out on this inspiring walk for change—let’s empower our communities together!
Why We Walk
Each year, we participate in the National Kidney Walk in NYC in remembrance of our father, Michael Hart, who passed away from kidney disease as well as congestive heart failure. Over the years, this has expanded to walking in honor of those who have fought or are fighting kidney disease in our community.
Join us on November 9, 2025, to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. We hope to see you there.
We would love for you to join our team, help fundraise and walk with us. You can also make a one time gift to help us reach our goal. Every step we take and every dollar we raise brings us closer to making a real difference.
